(YES!) takes you on a journey through an ancient temple in the bustling center of a city in China. The coin on this artwork is hand made by the artist and fashioned after old Asian money. The characters in the artwork are free-form meanderings of her personal language in the 'clerical', 'running', and 'grass' Asian painting style scripts.
The painting includes a haiku style poem written by the Artist on the back from memories of her early years growing up in Taiwan and Korea : "Leaves rustle in wind, tall tree. Plump fruit. Want Some? Shr!"
This artwork is painted on gallery wrap canvas with the sides also painted, signed en verso by the artist, wired and ready to hang.
